Stayed in one of the Sky Homes. Spotless luxury, beautiful beds, quality furnishings and a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook up a storm. Location was great and views over the ocean and the mountains spectacular. Excellent service from reception and secure parking. We’ll be back.

Our family of 5 stayed in the gorgeous penthouse here for 3 days. Everything was spotlessly clean and we loved the decor and spaciousness. Very handy location and reasonably priced. Management were very accommodating. Looking forward to our next stay here.
Exceptional – walking distance to the beach & all the good restaurants!
Perfect weekend away at first light Mooloolaba. Really accomodating staff, especially Brigid at the front desk who made excellent dinner recommendations nearby and helped us find a present for my mother! Rooms were clean and inviting, beds were comfortable and soft. 10/10 will stay again!

WOW this place was amazing, stayed here 7 nights and the room was SUPER CLEAN! The location is superb, the beach, cafe, shops and restaurants are walking distance, and Coles is 3 minutes away. My family absolutely loved our stay here.
I want to give a big shout to receptionist Lyndal as I initially had a bad experience with a neighbouring hotel where we needed to relocate immediately. Lyndal went above and beyond to accommodate us, she then found us the perfect room and we couldn’t have been happier. We will definitely be back as we loved our stay here. 10/10 – Thank you management team and Lyndal again
Great location, good value for money. We were on the top floor with excellent views. Apartment was spacious and clean. Close to beach, restaurants and shops.

LOVE LOVE LOVED IT 10/10 for service – the service was outstanding and the facilities were fantastic! Loved the location, could walk everywhere and a good coffee was only am stones throw away. I would have loved it to be ocean front but you cannot pick it up to move it unfortunately. Parking facilities were great and loved the room with floor to ceiling windows. Caitlin needs a special mention (I hope I got that spelling right) when I couldn’t get the stove to work as it’s fancier appliance than mine at home and also was so generous to help us with any questions and issues we had along the way. This young lady is worth gold and as a business owner I know the value of a fabulous employee when I come across them. Hang on to this one, she’s irreplaceable!
Stylish modern units. Very clean. We had the uninterrupted Hinterland views apartment… beautiful, stunning sun sets. Didn’t use the car once. Everything is in good walking distance. Staff are friendly and helpful.Will be back. Cheers Dave.
Location! Wonderful position right next to the main shopping precinct and beach. Apartment was well appointed, very clean and comfortable. We would stay here again any time.

When we checked in, the air-conditioning was on, the room was very cool compare to outside humid weather. Each room has an air conditioner, there is a balcony for us to enjoying a cup. The rooms were very clean.The reception lady was very friendly and helpful, we didn’t know how to turn on the electric cooktop as it was locked, she came up to the 12th floor with us showing us how to unlock and use the cooktop. The swim pool is a bit small but we enjoyed swimming there everyday feels very relaxing.

Clean, well maintained apartments that are close to everything. Our unit didn’t have ocean view but our neighbour said he did and he loved it. We can’t complain about that because we booked last second. I would most definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. The apartment has almost everything you need. It’s like your home away from home. Super clean. Decors are near new. Beds are very comfortable. Location is great too. Walking distance to the beach. Close to heaps of restaurants. Lovely view from our lounge is a real treat! Staff are friendly. Organised check in & check out process.

We had an ocean view apartment which was very clean throughout. Kitchen had everything you need for stay in dining and with Coles a two minute walk away location was excellent. Also close to shops and restaurants. Staff were very friendly. Very satisfied.

Spent 5 nights here. Super clean, neat and tidy. Could not fault the apartment we stayed in. Central to all you could ever want. Cafes and restaurants galore and the beach just a few metres away. AMAZING: First Light Mooloolaba was rad! Super close to the beach, cafes and main shopping areas.
Our room was decently sized, clean and though it wasn’t a “beach view” room, we could still see the beach and even hear the waves from our floor. The staff were also friendly and personable which made the stay that much more pleasant. Also, it is a random thing to note but the lifts were super quick. I have stayed at hotels previously where we have waited 10 minutes just to get downstairs so having a quick elevator was very much appreciated. I will definitely be coming back to First Light the next time I stay on the Sunshine Coast.
Fantastic hotel, right in the heart of Mooloolaba. Restaurants, bars and supermarkets etc all a stones throw away. The kitchen within the room was comprehensive and we loved our stay! The staff were very friendly and really helped us out with a late check out. Will definitely come back … and have already booked 🙂
